The bar is set pretty low, I'm sure they'll come out with something with enough pazazz to get a bunch of subscriptions and then fall off to a niche MMO within 6 months.

Again, I'm just tired of them milking the franchise.

Yea, thankfully kotor is set so far ahead of what we know as star wars, it leaves a lot of the "sacred" shit alone.

I don't think Bioware will ship a pile of shit... but who knows.

Turns out, Stormtroopers are worth a damn at level 50, and the soundtrack was handpicked by Lucas himself from the best tunes from the all of the movies.

Personally, I'm already Fanboyed out. I can't wait for this stellar MMO, which is going to change the face of gaming, mind you, so that I can abandon all other PC and console products and devote myself wholey to SW:TOR!!!

The far sweeter news then Kotor is the Currently in development DC Comics Universe MMORPG... It's probably not gonna be fun for people who dont play video games for the story, but they are going to incorporate a lot of plots and stuff throughout the comics. It seems pretty awesome, specially since it's being led by some people who really know comics. Woot! And anyone else psyched for DC Universe vs MK?

wow has quite a solid story, people just dont pay attention to it... just like they wont in almost any mmo...

WoW doesn't really have that solid of storyline anymore..., there are those of us who palyed WoW in the first place because of Warcraft lore which is truly awesome but those who play games to enlighten themselves through stories of it. I mean come on games like BioShock have a serious messages and you can learn a lot. Same with Mass Effect... bitch.

Wow still has a solid storyline, it's just that they've ended a lot of the storylines from the other games. It felt so much more involved because you were shooting straight from 3 and TFT to the stories in WoW, but now you have to take a bit of a leap of faith persay and follow these new storylines.

And fuck Mass Effect. I lol'd hard at the Zero Punction that pointed out that the female love interest has the same name as Bruce Campbell in Army of Darkness/Evil Dead.
