14:24 [Gosper]: wooooooooooooow, 72 hour suspension for "Bumping a thread that was a month old or mor"
14:24 [Gosper]: moar*
14:24 [Gospel]: ....ok?
14:24 [Gosper]: I miss talking to you already :(
14:25 [Gosper]: I missed talking to you while I was gone from wow, that's why I started trolling when I came back just so you'd notice me.
14:25 [Gospel]: If I knew who this was, the feeling might be--though unlikely--reciprocated
14:25 [Gosper]: Mangina
14:26 [Gospel]: I wasn't that amused, to be honest.
14:26 [Gosper]: I wasnt trying to be :P
14:26 [Gosper]: Typh said the forums didnt move at all, do something about it. I was like k fine ... but when there's like 7 people that read the forums it's harsd to start anything.
14:27 [Gospel]: The lesson is to never try
14:28 [Gosper]: Yeah I always did better when drama already started then I was just turn the pan fire into a housefire.
14:28 [Gospel]: I suppose since better being a relative term, that may be somewhat true.
14:28 [Gosper]: Like with Lennonist, the Trishelle WoW dating and Calixta / Melisa hate thread
14:29 [Gospel]: Yeah, I recall you being about as entertaining as Lennonist, perhaps a bit more than rhoona.
14:29 [Gosper]: you also transfered here :P
14:29 [Gospel]: Correct.
14:29 [Gosper]: I never went for the entertainment, just to piss people off.
14:30 [Gosper]: Guess it
14:30 [Gosper]: ot'
14:30 [Gosper]: fuck
14:30 [Gospel]: I suppose if you entertained yorself--much like a child peeing on a wall does--then that is all that matters.
14:30 [Gosper]: Guess it's why I rolled a hunter way back when, to abuse the shit o ut of chain trapping and kiting people around
14:31 [Gosper]: Nah, wasn't really that entertaining for the most part. This place was just extremely boring way back so stirring the pot gave things to talk about.
14:33 [Gosper]: but I knew you'd come and I was like shit, university versus a middle school drop out
14:33 [Gospel]: Well, in any case, either you were simply being unamusingly spiteful, or inept. You have my condolences regardless.
14:34 [Gosper]: pfft, not spiteful at all.
14:34 [Gospel]: Like I said, in either case, you have my pitty.
14:34 [Gosper]: lol
14:34 [Gosper]: you're cute
14:36 [Gosper]: Guess it's just mostly cause me and my friends try to piss each other off all the time irl.
14:37 [Gospel]: You should consider replacing your persuits for recreational jamming of sharp implements up your assholes.
14:37 [Gospel]: At least, in that case, I woud care to hear what you do with your friends.
14:37 [Gosper]: Why's that? We're still all great friends.
14:37 [Gospel]: Right, but you're about as banal and interesting as an episode of Friends.
14:38 [Gosper]: Meh, act differently online and such.
14:38 [Gosper]: wait, so you find guy jamming sharp objects up their tush exciting?
14:38 [Gosper]: neat..
14:39 [Gospel]: Two points to make to that statement. (a) I don't care and (b) I'm not sure if your inferring the "real you" is more boring/uninteresting than the "online you"
14:39 [Gosper]: you dont know me.
14:40 [Gospel]: I suppose neither does your parents or your girlfriend. They'll JUST NEVER UNDERSTAND.
14:40 [Gosper]: I aint emo dawg.
14:40 [Gospel]: I doubt you're that interesting. See, you're bored because YOU are boring. There just isn't that much depth is there?
14:41 [Gosper]: Sure, I wear tight jeans, listen to MCR and have jet black hair but I aint emo.
14:42 [Gosper]: Actually, I haven't had anything to do the last couple of weeks 'cause I injured my wrist so I can't go to the boxing gym and are just passing the time while waiting for my friends.
14:42 [Gosper]: and jobs are scarce right now.
14:43 [Gospel]: Yes, jobs are scarce for the unqualified and lazy.
14:43 [Gosper]: Lazy? No.
14:43 [Gospel]: That leaves unqualified or entitled.
14:43 [Gosper]: and I am quite qualified. I was kidding about being a middle school drop out.
14:44 [Gosper]: Graduated high school then I got my safety tickets and such.
14:44 [Gospel]: Oh, yes, I took that with the greatest serious consideration.
14:45 [Gospel]: So, if you're not lazy or unqualified (supposedly), then you're just entitled. That's a much better thing to be.
14:45 [Gosper]: and lazy? Ha yeah, I had an office job paying 14.50$ and I could not stand just sitting there.
14:45 [Gosper]: I have to move.
14:45 [Gosper]: I'd much rather to manual labor.
14:45 [Gospel]: Then go forth and do so?
14:46 [Gosper]: I've applied everywhere? I don't live in a large city.
14:47 [Gospel]: Have you tried praying too? Perhaps the Lord will give you a job.
14:47 [Gosper]: What's so exciting about your life? Besides walking between classes?
14:48 [Gospel]: I don't have pitty parties about it, and I"m certainly not bored.
14:48 [Gospel]: Not to mention, I'm not in school anymore.
14:48 [Gosper]: So you can call my life unexcited and boring then when I ask you you just shrug it off and say no.
14:48 [Gosper]: oh so what do you do then?
14:49 [Gospel]: By day I work as a chemistry teacher, but by night I sell drugs to the kids.
14:49 [Gosper]: uh huh
14:49 [Gosper]: Fictious facts hey
14:49 [Gosper]: Only people that feel something lacking in their life would do that.
14:50 [Gosper]: My old chem teach was probably the most boring guy I knew.
14:50 [Gospel]: Yes. You have caught me. My life is an endless spiral of dissapointment and unfulfilled aspirations
14:52 [Gosper]: Not saying you feel your life is dissapointing, but to call someone else life boring when yours isn't quite a ruckus is hypocritical.
14:52 [Gosper]: You're one of the last people i thought would be a hypocrit.
14:53 [Gospel]: Perhaps the key to not being boring, is the capacity to entertain oneself. And to that regard, you clealry are not capable. I never used the words "merit" or "success". Being bored is a state of mind, and you smell of it.
14:55 [Gosper]: I got plenty of ways to stay entertained. Sometimes I just don't feel like playing another match of CoD or watching TV. I browse the web, talk on facebook and go on the forums. Also when you're looking after your neice your're not going to play a shoot
14:55 [Gosper]: er infront of her
14:55 [Gosper]: especially with those potty mouths on xbox live.
14:56 [Gosper]: I also like how you change your arguments when you get cornered, very nice move.
14:57 [Gosper]: I also think I've struck a chord with you, trolling success.
14:58 [Gospel]: See, the point you're missing is this: I never asked or even care about your life. I don't hold a candle of disdain for your either. Simply put, I don't care--at all. I've just been looking for a nice way to tell you that I don't give a hoot enough to
14:58 [Gospel]: hear you expose the mundane details of your life.
14:58 [Gosper]: a neice is mundane? haha
14:59 [Gosper]: Is it mundane because you lack any sort of family?
14:59 [Gospel]: Yes. I was born from the womb of an eagle and was fathered by the forest spirit.
14:59 [Gosper]: is that why you've resorted to WoW for the greater part of your last couple of years??
15:00 [Gosper]: oh good one, dodging the question again.
15:00 [Gospel]: No, but unlike you, I don't feel it necessary to flaunt my "real life" to those I don't care for.
15:00 [Gosper]: I wasn't flaunting anything/
15:00 [Gosper]: I was telling you what happened.
15:01 [Gospel]: Why would you assume anybody would care?
15:01 [Gosper]: Because you asked.
15:01 [Gosper]: Not directly but I know you implied it.
15:02 [Gospel]: Actually, I didn't. I was insulting you, and you felt like telling me about your life.
15:02 [Gospel]: As if it would somehow stop me from insulting you.
15:03 [Gosper]: You called me boring and I told you why I seem boring to you.
15:03 [Gosper]: You think I care about getting insulted? Haha.
15:03 [Gospel]: Clearly I was basing the fact off what you have given me in what mediums and capacity you have given it -- i.e. over world of warcraft/intenret forums.
15:03 [Gosper]: and if you're to judge someone solely over the internet, you need to grow up.
15:04 [Gosper]: maybe not take teh internetz so serial
15:05 [Gospel]: Yes, clearly I am taking it with the uptmost seriousness. I take ti so seriously, that I tell strangers about my life.
15:05 [Gosper]: Stranger? I feel like i've known you my whole life.
15:05 [Gosper]: why have you put yourself on a pedestal?
15:06 [Gospel]: Accusing myself of being a stranger to you is somehow a pedestal?
15:06 [Gosper]: Think you're so awesome because you've kill Sartharion and are teaching chemistry?
15:06 [Gospel]: Yes. You can look at all the times I (didn't) post int he progression hread to verify how much I care.
15:06 [Gosper]: No, you smell of arrogance and a high self worth ebcause you've killed some monsters on the internet and are teaching chemistry
15:07 [Gospel]: Perhaps this is your perception because I don't like to use the word DAWG?
15:07 [Gosper]: Hahah, I used it once.
15:08 [Gosper]: and I use it when I'm joking aroung.
15:08 [Gosper]: around
15:08 [Gospel]: Obviously I am never facetious. I am always serious all the time.
15:08 [Gospel]: You have caught me, and thus I must go to my bank alt.
15:08 [Gosper]: I thought you'd be a less uptight guy in game, turns out I am wrong.

EDIT: Just curious, what did you / are you taking in school currently, Araqiel? I'm still quite open with going to post-secondary and I have the funds to but everything I think of taking just doesn't intrigue me to the point of being able to do it for the rest of my life.

Why are you seeking to justify yourself to a bunch of people on the internet?

One thing you must grasp before you start spewing more useless (to me at least) information about your existence or your self-righteous comments about why simply because I happen to be in RS you are better than me is:

Do you really think I care about you or the life you have chosen?

Oh there are quite a few subdisciplines within biomed, I'm not really sure what direction I want to take my studies at this moment. I do like genetics, so even genetic engineering seems pretty interesting at this moment however there is also the field of study involving artificial organs and such. I'm leaning more towards the latter of the two.

Pharmaceutical engineering is a possibility, but I wouldn't want my research with intent to help people be twisted by pharmaceutical companies into a way to screw them of their money instead.

You didn't address me and I don't really know you or anything but I feel compelled to write on here nonetheless...

I have a degree with 2 majors and a minor (management, marketing, and entrepreneurship, and a decent paying job (i counsel drug patients at a detox and help them to get rehabilitation and I own my own company on the side which means not only do i make money but I also contribute to society.. something I feel you don't do much of on Xbox live and wow forums). I also have a car, a badass dog, and a girlfriend who also has a great job ...and am about to close on a 300,000 dollar house... oh and I have a life with friends, i played sports throughout high school and college (boxing and soccer) and continue to play in summer leagues....and can run 10 miles in a pretty fast time and hit the gym 3 times a week minimum.... and get this... I have killed Sarth...

I only tell you that because it seems like your response to anything anyone says is to question their education and what they do.

I am soooo cool and so much better than you.

/Philgood has assumed his position on a pedestal

I don't know you... or care who you... and you really probably aren't worth my time.. but because you seem like a steaming pile of shit...i am writing here. You are one of those guys who.. you know.. makes a ridiculously idiotic statement and then is so impressed with himself by what he said that he fails to realize what he said wasn't intelligent at all.

You say "Dawg" and serial.... that pretty much sums you up right there and life is so boring to you because your mind is incapable of stepping outside of the box you live in. That box of fat white kids who wish they could be "gansta" and at a grown up age still says things like "dawg" and "serial".

You then say things like "Yeah I always did better when drama already started then I was just turn the pan fire into a house fire" which tells me you are so unimportant and have no value to the real world that the only thing you have going on for you is to get on wow forums and try to start drama.

And then at the end you try to pull the Gospel plays wow and talks on the forums card like you got him really well.. yet you do the same thing which makes you the hypocrite.

with all that i have going on.. I honestly have never felt like I was better than anyone else or assumed that other people were better than me (which I am sure there are tons of people who are still in much better situations than I) but today I can sleep a little better knowing that I am a much better person than you.

Better to have the cure out there and have it cost a fortune than not have a cure at all :P

Nice Phil. I am contemplating going to college in the fall for those degrees. My father is a successful manager and is close to retirement. What kind of car do you drive? Me and a friend are gonna be running a small shop out of my fathers rental house garage this summer if things go through as planned. Make some money on the side of a summer job and all (hopefully, since things are supposed to really pick up after spring break-up.) Hoping to start rebuilding a car in the winter with Papa and take it to track days all over. I also have a pretty cool dog but he's starting to get old :(.

I just quit playing hockey recently too. The junior teams are real meh.. and most of the players are drug and alcohol abusers. They don't really try. Baseball I just find extremely boring now, and the basketball league is real meh. I have started going to the boxing gym that my one friend is the trainer at. Boy does he ever make us work out. Teaches us some good fighting tips too.

What I find most amazing is the fact that you come out and call people hypocrites, brag about your trolling, and try to cut people's intelligence down, when pretty much in the same sentence you are guilty of the crime you are accusing.

Hell, in the same forum post on the vek forums, you claim credit for some great troll in vek history, and at the same stroke succumb to my menial and EASILY overlooked trolling by ignoring me.

Keep thinking your better than people (and you obviously do, even though you might not be directly aware of it). I'm sure that's gonna work out fine for you.

Bone, what you fail to realize is that trolling isn't about being entertaining or being witty or any of that junk.

Trolling is about stirring the pot and getting responses. You respond, the troll wins.

But this is happy fun time discussion thread now and don't change that.

PS. You're cute :) What do you do for a living? Just curious. Also, the Melisa / Calixta hate thread probably was the most epic thing to hit the Vek forums. Didn't hear that from just myself either.

I just noticed that you misspelled the thread title Gospel. For shame. :(

the one thing i always liked and respected about gospel is he isnt a liar, he calls people out, and he doesnt sugarcoat anything.

he doesnt make up facts and he typically lets people talk themselves in circles to the point they contradict themselves, make themselves look stupid, and ultimately reveals every conversation to everyone else so they can form their own opinions. Screenshots FTW

I only saw one question about my cars. I have a Jetta and a Jeep Grand Cherokee and my g/f drives a Honda Accord.

I didnt see anything else.
Boxing - I boxed middle weight and won 17 and lost 3. 6 wins by knockout and 1 loss by knockout. the rest mostly just by decision (points by judge)

you had to bag train and cardio train for 6 weeks before you could even step in a ring and then you spar and bag train for 3 months before an actual fight. You were also not allowed to participate in fights outside of the ring or else you can not remain a fighter for the gym.

Soccer - in high school played sweeper/stopper, in college I played Center Mid. Junior year we had an undefeated season until playoffs.

As for my degrees management/marketing double major is pretty simple. Not every college has the entrepreneurship minor. You do have to take multiple economics classes ( we had to do 5 or 6), finance and accounting classes (3 accounting, 2 finance), 2 levels of stats classes, umm.. with math you only have to take up to (including) calculus, and general requirements have you take a few science classes, 1-2 foreign languages, a bunch of marketing and management classes and gen eg stuff.

Here is a pic where you can see my car then i will add some where you can see the dog

Awww thas a cute puppy! and it looks like you live in a nice neighborhood too.

My friend that's a trainer at that gym is going to be starting his fights this spring he hopes. Another of my friends has been thinking about it too. I just go now cause I want to get quite fit and pick up some good fighting techniques in case I ever need them. 17-3? Nice.

Too bad the gym got shut down that my friend was training MMA at just a couple weeks before his first fight. That would have been exciting to go to. He trained with some semi-pro guys and they were really impressed. There was a cop that trained with him too and one night my friend got into some trouble at the bar (he didn't start it, some steroid junkie did) and when the cop that trained with him showed up he instantly jumped my friend and cuffed him because he knew what kind of damage he could cause haha.

yes 17-3. Needless to say I was good. I had been fighting for years before boxing and had done some martial arts as well..but boxing is different. Its a lot more technical than street fighting. I stopped because after my last fight i had my nose broken pretty bad/eyes swollen shut because of it and just decided that i had a pretty good record to go out on and wanted to focus more on soccer so i could get a scholarship in college.

Ironically freshman year of college my second soccer game I went for a diving header and caught a kick to the face and busted my nose pretty bad.
One of my college roommates did/does MMA. He trained in brazil with the gracie family for a while. He was very competitive and very good. he beat my ass pretty bad when we sparred. I could take him if we stayed on our feet throwing blows but he liked to grapple and take it to the ground and he usually rocked me and would have me submit

Haha yeah I'd believe that boxing is a lot more dangerous and technical than MMA.

Get punched a couple dozen times in the head, get knocked out for a couple seconds, get back up and go at it again. MMA, knocked out and it's done.

Just from the training we've been doing, I can start to see the technical side too. Have our hands slightly too low or too close together and he'll hit you pretty hard with the punching things. He'll also say if he'll be looking out to do some kidney shots too. I've found new respect for boxing haha.

Is that facetious? Facetiously incoherent?

i wouldnt say more technical than MMA but it is technical. There are a lot of things people dont see. The way you hold your hands, your stance with your feet/ shuffeling of the feet, whether to duck, lean back, or lean forward, which combination of punched to use, which fist to lead in with, etc

All the while reading your opponent, watching their feet while watching their hands/eyes/chest and shoulders... and then focusing on breathing as well so you dont get winded...

id suggest it for anyone.. even if they didnt want to fight.. just for cardio and health reasons

also kidney shots can knock out an opponent

Is that facetious? Facetiously incoherent?Haven't you been reading? I am a dummy, explain further.

Yeah cardio and healthy reasons are exactly why I'm doing it. Looking good for the ladies is just a bonus. ;)

I actually meant to say AS technical as MMA. During the stand up the technicalities would be about the same and the technicalities on the ground would be at about the same level, just different.

If by dangerous, you mean bare-knuckle or the boxing era 75 years ago, or because it causes mental retardation- then yes. But in general, as is, more dangerous than MMA? And it cetainly isn't more technical. Boxing is about stamina and endurance. MMA is way more technical, it is a multiple discipline approach to fighting. Any sport that involves minimal to advanced knowledge of multiple schools takes more skill, ability and diverse training.

While it is arguable how much endurance it takes in comparison to boxing, it certainly concentrates on developing more than just that aspect.

After all that you spouted, you tell me to be civil and move on? You were a complete failure of a troll, and now have attempted to justify it by explaining how a troll doesn't care yadda yadda. To top it off, you're still here being an attention whore, and do you seriously think being "nice" now will make anyone think any differently of you?

On the other hand, I knew a guy who was a boxer, he was pretty cool and talked about how it helped improve his focus in other matters of life. Interesting fellow he was...

From what I hear, boxing gloves don't soften the blow. All they really do is prevent hand and wrist injuries.

Yeah I heard something about them possibly doing more damage than barehanded (to the guy getting hit).

coming from a guy who has been in a lot of street fights...believe it or not some gloves do soften the blows a tad...of course there are different weight gloves (in ounces)... there are also other tricks of the trade and tons of preparations (mouthguards), tapeds hands, etc.. . Fun things as well Like before fights you put vaseline all over. Makes the gloves slide away a little easier and prevents you from getting the.. i dunno how to explain it.. rash like marks that gloves can leave on the face. The taped hands and gloves make your fist a lot more solid so they probably do hurt a little more, but the gloves soften the blows because knuckles split your face open a lot easier. (i have a scar above my eye to prove that ;)

edit: yes it is very good for focus and concentration and honestly really good for anger management

anyone who has never participated in boxing or MMA will of course have the opinion that its just punching eachother until someone gets knocked out... but for me it was more than that

It was the adrenaline, the challenge, this nervous/anxious/exciting feeling just before the bell rings... the people cheering, the sport, the testing of all of your training coming against someone elses training.

Its actually really fun and rewarding and its one of the only sports i have participated in where there will is a true mutual respect between competitors.

Edit: it did just start off as exercise and a way to burn off some anger/aggression but it because a part of me. At the gym every morning at 5am-7am 5 days a week and then sparring in the afternoons. It was the best shape i think i have ever been in

When considering whether or not to write an autobiography, one should take into account a few things.

1) What is the point of the work? What is the purpose and what will the world gain? For instance, are you writing the work for your family and friends, for yourself? Is it to validate to the world that you do in fact exist and that your existence is indeed meaningful?

2) Is your truth really the TRUTH? Perception is relative.

3) Should all details be included? Are some stories a 10 for you but really a 2 for everyone else? (Example: The inner torment and struggle about the decision to attend higher education or if protein shakes would add buffiness.)

4) Clarity and contiuity are important. Memories less so. While the realization that your gym coach didn't actually touch you in naughty places severely damaged your self esteem, it is probably best to leave that out. The general public might be confused. (Refer to 3 for further explanation.)

5) Background, how daddy and mommy were raised- is it important for the reader? In all cases, the answer is yes. This facilitates a clear understanding of important psychological issues.

6) Should you start, well, from the start? I like to think out of the box, so in general, I advise beginning with the ending. It's ironic.

7) Before embarking on your storytelling, chat with family and friends, view old photos, and hopefully your detailed journal you keep under the bed. This is greatly helpful with recalling incidents of importance. Also write ideas, imagined events, and inconsequential details/feelings on index cards. Be sure to keep these and catalog them, they become indispensable later on.

8) See above. Always write your feelings in that diary. I suggest leatherbound, it is more grave. Baristas will take you more seriously and inquire with interest as to the nuances of your life less ordinary.

Follow these simple notions, and perhaps you too can be as venerated as Kate Chopin and her Awakening. Or better yet, C.S. Lewis!

But yes, I will agree. Stories become much more engaging when they include adorable puppy pictures- provided said puppy will not soon have an autobiographical film based on his basketball or football careers.

Yes absolutely, it absolutely is out. My apologies.

That chihuahua movie is also out. (Carlos Mencia doing 15 voices, including the female voices, doesn't pass for entertainment.)
