So I'm sure all of you have heard us talking about Aion lately. Just makin this thread to let people know whats been on on with it.

Aion is a korean MMORPG that's just been recently released to the US, although its already been released in Korea for about a year and a half now so the game if really well put together for the time its been out. Aion plays almost exactly like wow but with a Korean feel to it and better looking graphics, textures, animations etc. For example, the class I've been playing is called an assassin or wow's version of a rogue. She can stealth, backstab, and build up runes on a target up to 5 which she can consume using a finisher for various effects. (sound like combo points? they are)

what times do you guys normally have playtime in aion ?

I am a ranger because I got tired of getting whirlwinded and aside from the lack of lowbie ranged abilities right now, I like it. Combat is pretty much the same as WoW's but a little more interactive because of movement bonuses. Char customization is very powerful and it took me like ages the first time just to check everything out.

Overall is just a wow clone with subtle differences and it still needs time to work out some kinks. If you're not a fan of grinding, this isn't the game for you. After 20-25 you are basically unable to quest for XP and are required to grind out about 90% of your experience. If you're also not a fan ov pvp I'd steer clear as the main zone is PVPPVE and getting ganked is almost a garuntee.
